1.Warranty for turbos reconditioned:
Our re-manufactured turbos carry a life time warranty from the date of purchase, provided that the turbo has been fitted and serviced in accordance with the vehicle manufacturers, and Best Turbos? fitting instructions.
Purchasing turbocharger from?Best Turbos? you agree with Terms & Conditions.
1.2. Proof of original purchase, warranty card, proof of oil, air filter, oil filter, turbo oil feeding pipe exchange the faulty turbo will be required before any warranty can be considered. Units for which a claim is being made must be returned to?Best Turbos? complete, any attempt to dismantle or repair the unit will invalidate the conditions of the warranty.
1.3. Warranty will be void if the product supplied is dismantled or tampered with in any way. All products must be returned complete, as supplied for warranty inspection and analysis to be conducted. The Supplier will carry out a thorough examination of all components before a decision is made as to the validity of a warranty claim. All our turbos have a protective seal inside applied during re-manufacturing process that indicates when the product has been tampered with and detects any unauthorized modifications, repairs or part exchange; if the device is broken on examination then the warranty will be null and void and no replacement or refund will be issued (it can also be due abuse or misuse of the product).
1.4. The Supplier Warranty is limited to the repair, replacement of turbo or a refund and covers only re-manufactured parts of a turbo.
1.5. The Supplier shall not be liable to Customer under any circumstances for any special, incidental, or consequential damages including damage to or loss of property other than for our products; damages incurred in installation, repair or replacement; lost profits, revenue or opportunity; loss of use; losses resulting from or related to downtime of turbo; the cost of substitute products; or claims of Customer?s customers for such damages.
1.6. This limited warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorized modifications and external causes such as acts of nature. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage to any non -?Best Turbos? products used in connection with this product.
This Warranty does not apply to damage caused by defective engine, accident, abuse, misuse, foreign object entry or modification of the Product.
No liability will be accepted if the turbo boost setting is outside the figures recommended by the Seller or the original vehicle manufacturer. The boost setting must always be checked after fitment to comply with this warranty. 1.7.The Supplier warranty does NOT cover:
a. Defects of turbine shaft as an effect of lack of lubrication or other causes.
b. Mechanical damages of core and housings.
c. Damage of compressor wheel as a result of foreign objects entering intake system.
d. Turbos, where sealants have been used such as silicone or exhaust paste or previously used gaskets.
1.8. Although sympathetic to every warranty claim, only exchange units which fail due to defective workmanship or re-manufactured parts are warrant able. Failures due to circumstances or conditions outside our control cannot be accepted under the Supplier?s warranty.
2.0 Fitting turbochargers
2.1.Any purchased must be fitted correctly, following our fitting guide and the manufacturer?s instructions.
Removing and re-fitting a turbo, is straightforward, but should not be attempted by anyone without the appropriate experience or expertise. Please note that our reconditioned turbochargers must be fitted by a qualified vehicle technician in a registered garage. The engine oil, oil filter, air filter, a brand new gasket set and new oil feed pipe must be changed at the point of turbo fitment, using only components and materials approved by the vehicle manufacturers and no substitute products should be used for this purpose. Particular attention should be paid to the turbo?s oil supply and ensuring that high degree of cleanliness is maintained while fitting the turbo (sufficient cleanliness of the intake and exhaustive system and when fitting the air filter should be maintained). It is vital to ensure that there are no leaks in the system that may lead to the turbo charger coming into contact with foreign bodies such as dust, sand, pebbles, etc. The Supplier shall not be liable for repair, replacement or a refund if a turbo fails because of insufficient cleanliness during the fitting process.
2.2.The turbo charger must be fitted to an engine that is in good working order so that the operation of the turbo is not prejudiced.
2.3. Incorrect turbo fitting, poor engine condition or maintenance, insufficient air or oil filtration could all lead to a warranty claim being rejected.
2.4. Please note that product warranty will be null and void in case of non-compliance with the above.
3.0 Modifications turbos or ECU remapping
3.1. In any situation where manufacturers standard boost pressures or fuel setting have been changed or any device is used to modify them, the warranty will be void or invalidated. Proof may be required of proper maintenance of manufacturer?s routine service levels and intervals, with particular regard to oil and filter changes.
3.2. Failure to comply with manufacturers service requirements will invalidate this warranty. The warranty is valid only for the owner of a vehicle during service. Only first turbocharger can be subject of warranty procedures.
4.0. Other Warranty Conditions
4.1. The purchasers/installers shall satisfy themselves that all reasonable steps have been taken to ensure that any original cause of turbo failure has been eliminated and that the turbo is correct for the application, and is fitted entirely in line with the engine manufacturer?s recommendations.
4.2. Warranty may be denied in the event of either the turbo or the engine being modified to increase power output, if this modification is prejudicial to the performance of the turbo.
4.3. Under no circumstances should a vehicle be used if a turbo problems suspected as this could cause further damage to the turbo and/or engine.
5.0. LIFE TIME WARRANTY
5.1. The turbochargers are covered by life time warranty only if turbos are fitted only by Best Turbos? at their premises.
5.2. The vehicle where turbo covered by life time warranty is installed must be fully serviced by?Best Turbos? every 6000 miles.
5.3. Failure to full service conducted by Best Turbos? every 6000 miles is subject of warranty invalidation.
5.4 Life time warranty of turbocharger is valid only for customer which purchased service from Best Turbos?. In case of vehicle sale or owner?s exchange warranty stops to be valid.
