up to 70 mph on motorway my car getting limp mode, befor that is lots of black smoke, my local mechanic told me something about overboost, he think I must find good turbo specialist and change my turbo asap.

I pulled out off motorway, and lost the power, and had a noise wining sound. AA bloke checked turbo on side road, and said there is huge lateral movement on the turbine blade and car is not driveable. So asked him to take me to my local garage. Do you need book appointment to do check on turbo, please? Well my turbo is gone, been towed by AA to my local garage. What choices do I have for BKD engine 2.0 TDI, turbo part number: 724930. I will speak in the morning with my mechanic and see what he can do but looking for other options as well.
